Identity Dance Company (ID Co) is an Auckland based street Dance Company who are world-renowned for their unique and futuristic style that pushes the boundaries of movement and creativity. IDCO was established in 2008 by a bunch of boys from Western Springs College and Mt Albert Grammar who were passionate about dance. After finding success in many competitions both nationally and internationally, Joshua Cesan decided to expand the brand which saw the birth of Identity Dance Company in 2014. Josh has built the company into what it is today with the help of many friends and
family members. The company members range from 10-30+ years.

The hard work has been especially evident through the successes at Hip Hop International (HHI) competitions over the years. IDCO have received acclaim on the international stage having won numerous Hip Hop World Championship medals including 3 Gold, 7 Silver and 4 Bronze titles. In addition to HHI success ID Co have been asked to headline World Of Dance LA, 2 years in a row and their varsity crew, Imprint are the current World of Dance Junior Champions

Other successes include being the first winners of ’The Stage Haka Fusion’ and had many dancers featured in NZ’s first Hip Hop movie born to dance. IDCO choreographers and dancers have taught and performed in over countries around the world international shows such as Laservision mega media Dubai, various KPOP groups, TV shows and advertisements for XFactor, Sony and Steinlager Tokyo dry.
THE IDCO CREW TRAINING PROGRAM
> Providing development, training and performance opportunities locally, nationally and internationally for a wide range of ages with the intention of taking dancers to the next level in a safe family orientated environment.
Identity Dance company offer crew placements in Junior, Varsity & adult age levels with the opportunity to audition at the beginning of each new year!
Crew Year opportunities may include: Video shoots, Dance Intensives, In-house battles, Crew bonding and company events, local, national and once provided the opportunity international travel for competitions, gigs or showcases.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC CLASSES
In addition to the crew training program ID Co offer open to the public beginner, Intermediate & Advanced local classes. Our mission for these classes is to create awesome up-skilling and networking opportunities within the community FOR the community by bridging together artists and dancers from all over to dance, share and inspire in a safe, freeing environment.

> #CLASSESWITHID - Experience a wide range of diverse talent and styles through our weekly Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced rotation casual classes.

> #SESSIONSWITHID - Our style based creative up-skilling and labbing sessions will hone the skill of every student within a 5 week style rotation. This session will offer students the opportunity to Integrate foundations, skills and knowledge of one street dance or hip hop style at a time whilst developing personal movement and individual style within each.

> I-DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS - This program will be facilitated and rotated weekly through the ID Co Faculty offering customised sessions dedicated to individual up-skilling in a range of styles and personal movement. Including general knowledge, history, foundation/techniques, freestyle, community connection and mentors personal style insight and training.
